Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a partner marketing manager who will design and execute overall marketing strategy and go-to-market plans for our partner ecosystem of resellers, distributors, and service providers. Must have experience with channel marketing in a business to business environment – preferably with software products.

This is a full-time, 40 hour per week, onsite position.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop overarching marketing strategy and go-to-market plans in conjunction with our partners, addressing how we’ll market to, with, and through our partners
  • Create collateral and messaging (including email campaigns, white papers and product notifications) for our partners
  • Build out and optimize joint programs, events, and co-marketing initiatives in line with company objectives and KPIs
  • Regularly track, analyze, and report on KPIs such as lead generation, pipeline impact, revenue, etc.
  • Build strong relationships with marketing counterparts and executive stakeholders
  • Lead market research efforts to build out a strong framework of joint opportunities and competitive positioning
  • Become a subject matter expert on Compass™ use cases and value proposition for partners, and partner value props by geography and industry
  • Map existing product functionality to market opportunities in conjunction with partner capabilities
  • Collaborate with the rest of Cobalt Iron’s marketing team (including demand generation, PR and communications, product marketing) in the delivery of partner programs



  • 5 – 7 years of channel marketing or partner ecosystem marketing experience
  • Broad marketing skills with capabilities in events, lead generation, PR, etc.
  • Ability to think strategically and act tactically
  • Ability to balance multiple requirements in a fast-paced environment
  • Project management experience a plus
  • Proactive and thoughtful communication skills — over the phone, through email, and on social media
  • Ability to think outside the box and bring creative ideas to the table to support partner marketing
